About the Position

The Product Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the flow of sample product and interoffice transfers in and out of the Grand corporate headquarters, as well as the organization and safe storage of product samples. This role also works cross-functionally to facilitate all product reviews and visual setups with the corporate product development teams and ensures efficient and timely movement of product as it moves through the development process.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Coordinate movement of product samples within the Grand location and communicate updates to cross functional partners

* Receive, catalog, scan into tracking system, and organize incoming sample product

* Communicate sample arrivals to cross functional partners

* Uncrate, assemble, install product in partnership with Design or Merch teams for reviews

* Collect, organize, track, prep, stage and scan outgoing product for transport to our Photo Studio

* Work closely with the Photo Sample Coordinator to coordinate product shipments, track and maintain accurate inventory documentation, resolve conflicts, and establish best practices

* Support Merchandising and Design teams in preparation for product reviews

* Move, set, breakdown product for reviews in partnership with Design or Merch teams

* Build, patch, paint display and set structures in preparation for reviews

* Help monitor/identify product no longer needed at Grand and partner directly with Design and Merch teams to determine next steps

* Communicate clearly with all cross-functional partners in a professional manner

* Maintain consistent productivity levels, be a self-starter and work independently with minimal direction

* Organize and maintain stock room and storage areas, partnering directly with Design and Merch teams to store/organize product and ensure a clean, safe environment

* Pack and ship product to vendors using UPS WorldShip as requested

* Collect and dispose of packing materials in accordance with established sustainability goals

Other Responsibilities

* Receive and route incoming mail

* Maintain office supply inventory

* Assist with conference room and office setup, desk setup and moves

* Assist with space planning and large project relocations

* Assist with basic facility maintenance as needed

* Perform miscellaneous duties including, but not limited to inventory checks, loading/unloading trucks, assisting merch teams to fulfill customer service requests

Requirements:

* High School Diploma or equivalent

* 1-2 years of relevant experience in warehouse, auction house, moving/storage or furniture installations

* Proficiency on Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook etc)

* Strong multi-tasking skills and flexibility to adapt to changing business needs

* High sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast paced, high volume environment

* Strong work ethic and positive attitude

* Familiarity with and ability to use both manual and power tools, furniture moving equipment

* Ability to walk, climb ladders, operate furniture moving equipment, lift up to 50lbs unassisted

* Ability/willingness to operate a forklift desired, certification will be provided

* Ability to perform work onsite in the Portland office Monday - Friday
