Job Purpose

The Acura Digital Revolution (ADR) Value Stream Owner for Showroom Experience would be leading the strategy, implementation, and operation of a new Showroom Experience to assist our omnichannel, digital selling experience. Specifically, the Value Stream Owner would be resposible for:

  • Lead decisions regarding the omnichannel experience in the dealership to assist a seamless integration between the digital selling platform and the in-person experience
  • Oversee technology hardware selection and implementation to assist this experience.
  • Set the vision for future improvements to the Showroom Experience
  • Ensure the field and dealers are ready for the new ADR mindset and ways of working, whether the changes are from Showroom Experience or other Value Streams.
  • Assist the field and dealers to be ready to sell BEV - advise on overall benefits, incentives, and charging solutions.
  • Organize with National Sales for all sales activities, such as allocation strategy, demo vehicles, and Home Electrification displays.
  • Identify key metrics and KPIs to measure success and manage dealer performance
  • Propose changes to dealer performance bonus structures as appropriate
  • Represent and advocate for the Business in judicious planning, product development and solution management that are in alignment with all AHM Business Units (Auto Honda, Acura, Power Sports Products, Power Equipment, Marine, AHFC and Honda Canada) business strategies
  • Lead change management and communication plan actions, within the organization across the Business Units and externally (AHM, field, dealers, customers, business partners).
  • Successful executive approval and deployment of said projects
  • Be an inspiring leader for all associates, contingent staff, professional services, and vendor partners in multiple locations (on-shore and off-shore).

Showroom Experience Value Stream Owner, as part of the Acura Digital Revolution, our digital transformation initiative in preparation for the first Battery Electric Vehicle launch, includes the following three products:

  1. Omnichanel experience and process
  2. Field & Dealer Training and Communication
  3. Showroom hardware

In addition to having a strong vision for the Showroom Experience, the Value Stream Owner will lead the vision for future improvements to the Experience to provide unique customer experience in line with the technological innovation and progress that the society is undergoing. This means leading innovative project teams using Agile methodologies. Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and software release process is preferred but not required.

Key Accountabilities

Oversee and guide multiple initiatives and product teams including:

  • Development of critical project action plans & establishment of key milestones
  • Manage project budget and, when relevant, maintain all external vendor relationships.
  • Establish and track project KPIs to ensure the impact to customer experience and the business can be quantified.
  • Project management required to keep schedule (e.g., managing team resourcing roles & responsibilities)
  • Collaborate with ADR Transformation Office and other ADR Value Stream Owners to build alignment with all digital transformation initiatives across the enterprise.

Collaborate with other AHM teams to define strategy, including but not limited to National Sales, Sales Training, Dealer Communications, and Charging Solutions.

Collaborate with executives and stakeholders and ensure alignment on strategy, objectives, and implementation goals across the enterprise. Create, gain approval, and manage to cost, schedule, and other performance objectives.

Keep up to date on industry best practices and provide recommendations for internal strategies

Present project proposals to senior executives for approval; present updates to ADR leadership during bi-weekly sprint reviews & other meetings; convey all project impediments and collaborate to ensure speedy removal

Qualifications, Experience and Skill

Minimum Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Experience

  • 7 years vehicle-relatedexperience
  • 5-7 years detail-oriented role
  • 5+ years field sales experience
  • 5+ years of leadership experience
