Job Description We're seeking motivated Cable Technicians to support the construction and infrastructure buildout of large-scale data centers in the Richmond, VA area. This is a hands-on opportunity to break into the telecommunications industry, working alongside experienced professionals to install and maintain structured cabling systems. What You'll Do * Install cable trays, pull cable and fiber, and assist with punch-down and termination * Build and assemble server racks and install low-voltage devices * Route and suspend cable using J-hooks, D-rings, bridal rings, and trapeze supports * Perform fire-stopping procedures and install sleeves through core penetrations * Follow blueprints and construction drawings to ensure accurate installation * Support grounding of racks, equipment, and cabling * Maintain accurate documentation and complete all required paperwork * Adhere to safety standards and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment What You Bring * Experience with hand tools and basic construction tasks * Ability to read and follow blueprints and technical drawings * Comfortable working at heights and in active construction zones * Strong work ethic, punctuality, and willingness to work flexible hours * High school diploma or equivalent Nice to Have * Previous experience in telecom, construction, or low-voltage cabling * Familiarity with cable color codes, termination techniques, and server rack assembly * Interest in pursuing a long-term career in data center or network infrastructure Why Apply? * Break into the fast-growing telecommunications and data center industry * Gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge infrastructure projects * Career growth opportunities into roles like Data Center Technician * Competitive pay and potential for overtime (10-12 hour shifts, 6 days/week) * Be part of a high-impact team building the backbone of digital infrastructure Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
