Your Job

As a Lead Controls Systems Engineer, you will be at the forefront of designing and programming industrial control systems that drive innovation and performance across our operations. You will play a key role in developing and maintaining advanced automation solutions, with an emphasis on quality, reliability, and efficiency.

Our Team

You'll join a collaborative team of engineers and technical specialists dedicated to optimizing manufacturing systems through automation. Our division is focused on driving process improvements and leveraging technology to solve complex challenges in real-time production environments.

What You Will Do

  • Design, program, and test PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems for automated manufacturing processes
  • Develop and implement process control solutions that improve product quality and reduce waste
  • Lead or contribute to prototype development, testing, and system commissioning
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to resolve engineering challenges
  • Write, implement, and refine maintenance procedures for automation equipment
  • Analyze production data to support continuous improvement initiatives and efficiency gains

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field
  • 3-7 years of experience in industrial automation or process control systems
  • Proficient in programming PLCs, HMIs, and working with SCADA platforms
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret technical documentation
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience reducing production scrap or improving manufacturing yield
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis and process optimization methods
  • Ability to write reports, manuals, and present findings to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Knowledge of electrical safety standards and system troubleshooting best practices
  • Hands-on experience working in environments with moving mechanical parts and electrical systems

For this role, we anticipate paying $100,000- $175,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
