The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of waterpark facilities to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for guests and staff.

Pay Rate: $13.50 per hour

Major Duties/Specific Tasks
  • Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of waterpark facilities, including restrooms, locker rooms, changing areas, showers, staff break rooms, and guest areas.
  • Sweeps, mops, and hoses down wet surfaces as needed to prevent slips and maintain hygiene.
  • Cleans and sanitizes toilets, sinks, stalls, benches, mirrors, floors, and other high-touch surfaces using
  • proper chemicals and procedures.
  • Restocks supplies such as soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and other consumables throughout the day.
  • Removes trash and recyclables from designated areas and ensures waste is properly disposed of.
  • Responds to cleaning or spill-related incidents promptly and efficiently to ensure guest and staff safety.
  • Performs periodic deep cleaning of designated areas, including power-washing and scrubbing of tile or
  • concrete surfaces.
  • Reports maintenance needs, supply shortages, or safety hazards to the Manager on Duty.
  • Assists with setup, cleaning, and breakdown of special events or facility rentals, as assigned.
  • Attends and participates in staff meetings and training sessions.
  • Carries out additional duties as assigned by the Admissions or Concessions Supervisor, Pool Manager, and/or Park Specialist.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum age of 16 years.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting (up to 50 lbs.), bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in a warm, humid, and outdoor environment typical of waterpark operations.
  • Ability to follow safety procedures, especially when handling cleaning chemicals and working in wet areas.
  • Good communication skills and ability to interact courteously with the public and team members.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently to complete assigned cleaning routes.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Required to wear a standard uniform and maintain a neat and professional appearance.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping, janitorial services, or custodial work preferred but not required.
