We are looking for an organized, detailed, and strategic, individual to join as a Marketing Analyst, who is responsible for creating actionable insights and targeted campaigns that drive enterprise goals and increase member engagement. This individual must be proficient in executing marketing initiatives and will oversee market and member data analytics with a focus on reporting, analysis, forecasting, and identifying and presenting opportunities.

The Marketing Analyst will also lead the creation of files for targeted marketing, requiring hands-on experience with Excel, MCIF tools and database management preferred. In addition, this individual will be responsible for developing and deploying direct marketing campaigns in email, text, direct mail, and digital mediums, including paid Google advertising. The Marketing Analyst is adept at setting effective success metrics for continued optimization.

What does GTE look for in a Marketing Analyst?

Analyst
  • Subject matter expert in the credit union's data systems. Must be able to retrieve, manipulate and analyze complex and often decentralized data. Validate and develop useful insights, spot opportunities, and make recommendations that drive decisions and marketing campaigns.
  • Responsible for the development of monthly key performance reporting, weekly reporting of conversion rates and digital engagement as well as ad hoc reports as needed.
  • Role mandates meticulous due diligence and adherence to internal procedures and policies to ensure accuracy, security, and integrity of the published/reported data and insights.
  • Responsible for forecasting production numbers based on historical data and market behavior.
  • Develop and evaluate ways to collect data to get direct feedback from core constituents including leading focus groups, opinion polls and surveys.
  • Work with internal stakeholders and key vendors on the planning, execution, and reporting of marketing campaigns, cross-sales, and automated communication.
  • Key stakeholder in the continuous management of the organization's current relationship management tools, keeping data and insights updated, tested and validated.
  • Responsible for the creation, quality assurance, and secure handling of highly sensitive data files for targeted marketing campaigns and other enterprise initiatives.
  • Regularly works with the marketing and cross-departmental teams on intelligence initiatives and projects to assist with strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and present campaign strategies to gain buy-in and approval from production departments, then execute and reports on those strategies.
  • Review campaign workflows and results to improve processes and performance.
  • Plan, assess, goal set, execute, and report on effective marketing campaigns in support of credit union goals. Lead internal readiness efforts and provide ongoing updates regarding performance.
  • Work directly with Graphic Design as well as internal and external business units to realize creative deliverables on time and within budget.
  • Regularly work with technology solutions (IT) to coordinate automation for targeted and incentive- driven campaigns, generating qualification reports and managing member payouts.
  • Regularly work with the digital marketing manager on coordinating initiatives and projects to assist with virtual marketing strategies and implementation. Will directly lead Google paid advertising and manage credit union information on various digital platforms (Google maps, Apple maps, and Yelp).

Operational:

  • Must demonstrate functional knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act in addition to other Federal laws, including but not limited to the U.S. Patriot Act, Office of Foreign Assets & Control, Anti-Money Laundering, and Right to Financial Privacy Act, and the Bank Bribery Act.
  • Bilingual a plus (English/Spanish).

  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask across multiple projects
  • Must possess strong collaboration and communication skills for presenting strategies and results
  • Excellent in problem-solving and decision-making
  • Willingness to drive efficiencies and improve processes
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, analytics, marketing, data science, or a similar field,
  • Min 2-5 years' experience or a combination of education and experience
  • Experience working with Google platforms, such as Google Ads and Google Analytics
  • Experience using Tableau is desired
  • Advanced skills using Excel / SQL to analyze data

Position Details:

  • Location: Downtown Tampa - GTE Headquarters
  • Department Hours: Monday-Friday (8:00 am to 5:00 pm)

Full-time hours required, with additional hours as necessary to accomplish objectives, goals, and projects.

The position is defined as hybrid in nature, in-office, or remote, and may be changed at any time by management with appropriate notice, if possible.

  • A quiet workplace so you can focus on delivering excellent service to our members.
  • Some positions will require performance standards to be met to qualify for alternative work arrangements.
  • Required to have power and high-speed internet over 100MB (minimum).
  • Video capability (connection of 1.5 Mbps up and down recommended).
  • Candidates must provide and meet all technical requirements prior to the first day of training.
  • Hybrid candidates must live within driving distance of the office location and be able to regularly commute to and from the office location as needed.
