What You'll Do:

The Corporate Labor Relations Manager supports the development and execution of strategic labor relations initiatives across the enterprise. This role partners with HR Business Partners (HRBPs), legal counsel, and business leaders to promote positive union relationships, ensure compliance with labor laws and CBAs, and advance continuous improvement in labor relations practices.

Major Job Activities:



  • Support the development and execution of corporate labor relations strategies, including positive employee relations initiatives.
  • Provide guidance and subject-matter expertise to HRBPs and managers on CBA interpretation, grievance handling, and NLRB processes.
  • Analyze and interpret labor relations data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain the corporate labor relations knowledge base, including CBAs, negotiation schedules, grievance logs, and settlement agreements.
  • Assist in the preparation of negotiation strategies and corporate approval packages for CBA bargaining.
  • Support tracking and reporting of labor relations metrics to measure service delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in grievance investigations and recommend solutions to management in partnership with legal and HR.
  • Assist with the development and delivery of labor relations training for HR and operational leaders.
  • Ensure labor relations practices support V2X values of professionalism, integrity, and respect.
  • Maintain current knowledge of labor and employment laws, industry trends, and regulatory changes.
  • May participate as a team member in collective bargaining negotiations in accordance with corporate strategy.
  • Uphold the highest ethical standards and maintain confidentiality.


Qualifications:



  • Education / Certifications: One year of related experience may be substituted for one year of
    education, if a degree is required.

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Labor Relations, or related
      field.
    • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.


  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 3 years of labor relations experience, preferably in a unionized environment.
    • Experience supporting collective bargaining or contract administration preferred.
    • Familiarity with grievance procedures, NLRB processes, and labor law compliance in a government
      contracting environment is a plus.
    • Broader HR experience preferred.


  • Other Requirements:

    • U.S. Citizenship Required.
    • Must meet pre-employment contingencies (background investigation, substance abuse screening, vaccination requirements as applicable).
    • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance, as applicable.
    • Ability to work flexible hours, including discretionary hours outside of the scheduled workweek as needed.
    • Strictly maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and company-proprietary data

      • Ability to proactively respond and engage in labor relations matters.
      • Experience supporting negotiation planning and execution.
      • Familiarity with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
      • Commitment to continuous improvement and service delivery metrics.


    • Business Partner/Effective Communication:

      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
      • Ability to mediate and resolve conflict professionally.
      • Strong collaboration with HR, legal, and operational leaders.


    • Lead with Character/Collaboration and Teamwork:

      • Professional demeanor and ability to build constructive relationships.

    • Software:

      • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.


    • Technology:

      • Laptop and other general office equipment.

  • The successful candidate's starting pay will be based on, but not limited to, their job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.
  • The following salary range is intended to display the value of the company's base pay compensation and may be modified at the discretion of the company.

    • USD $ 75,000 - $135,000


  • Provided salary range minimum and maximum values correspond to variances between regional/geographic locations across the United States.
