Overview

SRI's Quantum Economic Development Consortium (QED-C) is looking for a Membership and Operations Coordinator to work a hybrid work schedule from our Arlington, VA office. They are part of a tight-knit team responsible for membership management and operation of QED-C. Day to day, they will work under the direction of the Membership & Operations Senior Manager, engage with QED-C members and applicants, and collaborate with other SRI teams and vendors.



Responsibilities

    Implement membership recruitment and retention programs: respond to inquiries; organize and track applications; and track application review.
  • Responsible for the accuracy and integrity of member data including contact information, member points of contact, relevant activities and more.
  • Maintain records and statistics related to membership, invoicing, and payment of fees.
  • Update the QED-C website; administer member accounts and permissions.
  • Maintain the consortium's online calendar, including posting supporting documents and recordings. Work with the SRI communications team to promote QED-C activities.
  • Utilizing HubSpot, send routine correspondence to members and partners.
  • Document operations and track progress of assignments in Asana.
  • Support organizational governance activities including drafting meeting minutes of Steering Committee.
  • Support and attend virtual and in-person meetings including the consortium's twice-annual plenary as directed.
  • Other relevant duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • HS diploma or equivalency, with 2+ years of membership operations, administrative or customer service experience.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • US Citizenship or Permanent Residency required, due to contract requirements.
  • Proficiency with 2 or more of the following business software applications:
    • CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce or HubSpot)
    • ERP and BI tools
    • Project management software (e.g., Asana)
    • Website management platforms (e.g., WordPress)
    • Virtual meeting and webinar systems (e.g., Teams or Zoom)
    • Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets (conditional formatting, pivot tables, etc.)
    • Document preparation in Word, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to draft correspondence and other documents requiring minimal revision. Writing samples may be requested.
  • Cover letters highly encouraged.

The salary range is: $62,316-$82,575. Salary ranges will vary and are based on several factors, including geographic location, market competitiveness and equity amongst internal employees in similar roles. Positions may also qualify for SRI's Pay for Outstanding Performance program or the annual Performance Based Compensation program.
