Description Acara Solutions has an opening for a
Project Engineer in Fremont, CA with a semiconductor industry.
We are seeking an individual who has experience with engineering product development processes/best practices. This candidate will have knowledge of enabling CAD and PLM efficiencies and automation as well as a passion for standards, details and consistent design and documentation methods.
What the client is looking for -
This position sits on the governing/process side of engineering - not in design or manufacturing. A background in engineering is important, but we need someone who is interested in engineering process improvement.
What the client expects: Ideal candidates will be focused on developing and maintaining standards and systems, not product design. Candidates driven by process ownership, optimization, and governance are much better aligned.
Key responsibilities include: Understanding and managing engineering processes Managing standards, documentation, and release of new standards Working within systems such as PLM Ensuring alignment with engineering workflows and compliance Responsibilities *Continuous improvement.
*This includes all elements of the engineering development and release process from the tools we use to communicate, to the engineering practices themselves
*Develop evaluation methods to assess process strengths and identify areas for improvement
*Work cross functionally to align with requirements and functionality with stakeholders
*Create and maintain comprehensive process documentation
*Create, present and maintain effective training
*Present project plans to senior management, gain buy in and deliver results
*Manage CFTs with a diverse array of talents and responsibilities
Shift: Onsite-Flex, days, Monday - Friday, 5/8s
