This position has direct responsibilities for PN courses including preparing curriculum, creating assignments and tests, lectures, and evaluation of students. Will be involved directly with PN students in teaching, mentoring, and advising students to encourage student success. Must communicate regularly with course adjuncts who are assisting in the practice lab and clinical settings.

Typical Responsibilities Include:
- Teaching college students in the practical nursing program.
- Writing syllabi, lecturing, testing, grading and evaluating students.
- Participating in the Systematic Plan of Evaluation with follow through for program improvement.
- Attending orientation, advisory, and faculty meetings to provide input and remain up-to-date.
- Communicating with the PN Program Coordinator, adjunct instructors, and students regarding issues, grievances, and special circumstances of program students.
- Participating in college meeting and activities.
To Be Considered You Need:
- A minimum of a baccalaureate degree in Nursing with a minimum of two years of nursing experience as a Registered Nurse.
- A current, active, unencumbered Registered Nursing license in the state of Ohio.
- A minimum of two years of registered nursing experience.
- Experience in nursing education in a higher education learning setting.
- The American Heart Association BLS CPR certification.
