Job Title: Courtroom Presentation Specialist

Overview:

The Courtroom Presentation Specialist supports litigation teams by creating compelling visual and multimedia trial exhibits, managing courtroom presentation tools, and providing technical support throughout all phases of trial. This role collaborates with attorneys, paralegals, law enforcement, and expert witnesses to ensure accurate and effective exhibit delivery in court.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop trial exhibits including charts, timelines, crime scene diagrams, and maps using Adobe Creative Cloud and other specialized tools.



  • Create and edit video compilations using tools such as Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Evidence.com.



  • Prepare trial presentation databases in software like Trial Director and OnCue.



  • Convert, clip, and annotate audio/video files; redact or track individuals and objects in footage as needed.



  • Design and produce 3D diagrams using applications like SketchUp and mapping visuals with Google Earth Pro.



  • Support courtroom technology setup including maintenance of laptops, hard drives, clickers, easels, and display equipment.



  • Provide basic IT support (e.g., Wi-Fi/VPN connectivity, printers, networking issues) related to courtroom technology.




Required Qualifications:


  • Experience with courtroom presentation software such as Trial Director and Sanction.



  • Strong collaboration and communication skills; able to work closely with legal teams in high-pressure environments.



  • Demonstrated trial experience, including full trial-cycle support (pretrial through verdict).



  • Ability to manage and troubleshoot technology in real-time during trial proceedings.



  • Willingness and availability to travel for extended periods and work long hours during trials.



  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, and After Effects.




Preferred Qualifications:


  • Familiarity with standard litigation support platforms (e.g., Relativity, iCONECT, CaseMap).



  • Experience testifying in court regarding the accuracy and creation of visual evidence.



  • Working knowledge of multimedia formats and file conversion techniques.



  • Background in graphic design, multimedia production, or criminal justice is a plus.



  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in file and exhibit management.
