Primary Location:

Bloomfield, New Mexico

Trainer/Utility: This position is crucial for filling in across various sales department roles, includingPresale, On-Premises,andConventional RouteDepartments. You will perform a wide range of tasks, including customer service, sales, product delivery, Line cleaning, trouble shoot draught issues, special events to contribute directly to our company's success.

Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate positive customer relationships by providing professional, courteous, and quality service.
  • Provide accurate quotes for prices and credit terms, and coordinate sales contracts for orders obtained.
  • Collect payments from vendors, ensuring accuracy in balancing truck inventory and cash collected.
  • Safely drive a truck/van to deliver beverage products to customers' places of business, navigating both urban and rural environments in compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Operate computerized inventory and invoicing systems.
  • Safely use hand trucks and electric pallet jacks to move products.
  • Obtain customer signatures on receipts for deliveries or pickups.
  • Travel within assigned territory to solicit orders from regular and prospective customers, preparing sales contracts and managing customer interactions.
  • Organize and maintain product placement in customer stockrooms to maximize store visibility while minimizing stockroom inventory.
  • Construct and assemble product displays using company-provided point-of-sale (POS) materials.
  • Coordinate product returns, including the pickup of pallets, shells, and other items from customer locations.
  • Follow sales strategies by placing product signage and ensuring items are properly arranged to comply with company guidelines.
  • Order products in accordance with company procedures to ensure stock availability.
  • Regularly clean the interior of the truck and perform daily truck inspections, including routine maintenance (fluids, air, and oil checks).
  • Always wear company-APPROVED uniform and maintain a professional appearance when interacting with customers and in public settings.
  • Other duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or other management.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a Sales or Merchandising or similar environment (Beverages industry experience preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
  • Valid Driver's License- Candidate must meet company driver qualifications.
  • One-year certificate from a college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively, including in one-on-one or small group situations with customers, clients, and other employees.
  • Able to perform basic arithmetic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) and compute rate, ratio, and percentages.
  • Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to address issues involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
