The Director of Manufacturing will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing operations ensuring efficient production processes, maintain high safety standards, and lead a dedicated team to meet our organizational goals.
Essential Functions: Oversee all production activities for planning, controlling, and coordinating the entire range of manufacturing activities of the organization. Manage warehouse and shipping operations to ensure efficient inventory control and logistics. Drive process improvements and implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance transmission/engine production efficiency and reduce costs. Establish direction for new processes / systems / solutions of production planning and manufacturing. Provide a safe working environment by enforcing safety policies and procedures. Prepare and present regular reports on production metrics, safety incidents, and operational efficiency to senior management. Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement best practices to enhance productivity. Develop and manage the plant budget, monitoring expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities. Manage and develop Manufacturing Supervisors, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement Directs plant organizational strategies by contributing information, analysis, and recommendations to strategic thinking and direction; establishing functional objectives in line with organization goals. Bachelors Degree in Business Management, Engineering or related field with 8+ years relevant experience. Masters Degree in Business Management, Engineering or related field with 6+ years relevant experience. 3+ years experience leading a team Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Strong understanding of production processes and quality control methodolgies Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices Excellent communication and people management skills Strong interpersonal and leadership skilsl | |
