Title: Assembly Instructor Location: Huntsville, AL 35806 Position Type: 12+ Months Contract (Possible extension) Shifts Schedule: Must be able to work all shifts 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Pay Rate: 49/hour on w2 without benefits Job Description: The Mechanical Instructor is responsible for delivering high-quality training programs focused on mechanical skills and certification for technicians involved in the production of mechanical assemblies. This role includes assessing the effectiveness of training content, conducting workplace coaching, and collaborating with business partners to identify and implement performance development opportunities. The instructor will ensure that all training aligns with company policies and procedures while maintaining a professional presence in the classroom and lab settings. Conducts learning requirements analysis and establishes learning objectives. Designs and develops course content and instructional materials. Tests delivery environment and establishes system access requirements. Delivers content and assesses effectiveness based on learning objectives. Conducts customer workplace coaching sessions to improve individual or group performance. Deploys development tools and monitors implementation and performance outcomes. Required Experience: Mechanical experience. Instruction/training experience (leading groups, conducting training courses, building training content, coaching). Education: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).
