ABOUT THE ROLE As an HR Generalist, you will play a critical role in supporting the full employee lifecycle and ensuring compliance across a variety of HR functions. You will partner closely with employees, managers, and leadership to deliver exceptional HR support aligned with organizational goals. This role requires knowledge of employment laws, attention to detail, and a proactive, service-oriented mindset. You'll handle employee relations, leave management, compliance, offboarding, and general HR support, acting as a key point of contact for day-to-day inquiries and processes. WHAT YOU'LL DO Employee Lifecycle & Experience * Respond to HR inquiries and provide guidance on policies, processes, and employee-related matters * Conduct exit interviews, summarize trends, and provide insights to leadership * Manage unemployment claims, submit required documentation, and represent the company in hearings * Serve as an employee relations liaison to gather and document concerns and recommend next steps Compliance & Leave Management * Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal employment laws * Administer and document workers' compensation claims, acting as liaison with adjusters and employees * Coordinate and manage employee leave requests under FMLA, state leave laws, disability, and company policies * Monitor legislative and regulatory changes, and recommend updates to internal policies and practices HR Operations & Support * Provide direction to managers on employment practices and policy interpretation * Assist the Director of Human Resources with projects, reporting, and ongoing compliance initiatives * Maintain documentation and ensure consistent, accurate HR recordkeeping * Promote a positive employee experience through effective HR service delivery WHAT YOU'LL BRING * 2-3 years of HR Generalist experience supporting a nationwide workforce * Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field (or equivalent experience) * Strong working knowledge of federal and state employment and labor laws * Familiarity with Workers' Compensation and leave of absence programs * Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities * Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite * Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to build trust and communicate with empathy YOUR BUSINESS IMPACT As an HR Generalist, your support will be vital in fostering a compliant, efficient, and employee-centered workplace.
