Position Overview:
The Chief People Officer (CPO) is a key member of the executive team and plays a crucial role in shaping the company's culture, driving organizational change, and aligning HR strategy with overall business objectives. This role involves long-term planning and a deep focus on people management as a strategic asset. The CPO will drive the development and implementation of policies and programs that support Eskaton's goals and promote a positive and productive workplace culture as well as focus on strategic leadership and organizational development. The CPO will oversee the Director of HR, who manages the day-today HR operations.

Key Responsibilities:



  1. Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive HR strategy that aligns with Eskaton's vision and objectives.

    • Develop a comprehensive HR strategy that aligns with Eskaton's vision and objectives, ensuring it is communicated effectively across all levels of the organization.
    • Implement a robust performance management system that tracks and measures employee contributions towards organizational goals.
    • Regularly review and update HR policies to reflect changes in labor laws and industry best practices.



  2. Talent Management: Oversee recruitment, onboarding, development, and retention of top talent. Implement programs to enhance employee engagement and performance.

    • Create and execute a talent acquisition plan that attracts top talent through innovative recruitment strategies.
    • Develop and implement onboarding programs that ensure new hires are integrated smoothly and effectively into the organization.
    • Establish continuous learning and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth; leveraging the Academy and Learning Management System.



  3. Culture of Excellence: Our culture fosters growth, belonging, accountability and well-being.

    • Promote and integrate Eskaton's core values into daily operations and decision-making processes to ensure they are reflected in the workplace culture.
    • Develop and execute initiatives that recognize and reward employee contributions, fostering a sense of belonging and engagement within the organization.
    • Organize regular workshops and training sessions on cultural competency and inclusive practices.
    • Foster a collaborative environment where employees feel valued and respected, encouraging open communication and feedback.



  4. Employee Relations: From a strategic level, will oversee employee relations and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.

    • Develop and maintain a transparent grievance resolution process that addresses employee concerns promptly and fairly.
    • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations through regular audits and training sessions.
    • Implement programs that promote employee well-being and work-life balance.



  5. Compensation and Benefits: Design and oversee competitive compensation and benefits programs. Ensure alignment with industry standards and Eskaton's goals.

    • Design competitive compensation packages that attract and retain top talent, ensuring they are aligned with industry standards.
    • Regularly review and update benefits programs to meet the evolving needs of employees.
    • Conduct market analysis to ensure Eskaton's compensation and benefits remain competitive.



  6. Organizational Development: Lead organizational development efforts, including succession planning, leadership development, and change management.

    • Lead succession planning efforts to ensure a pipeline of future leaders within the organization.
    • Develop leadership development programs that prepare employees for higher responsibilities.
    • Implement change management strategies that support organizational growth and transformation.




Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role, preferably as a Chief People Officer or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change and foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to align HR initiatives with business goals.
