OverviewWe are Azure Resource Graph (ARG) team part of the Azure Core team that is responsible for building and maintaining a unified, accurate, and secure inventory of Microsoft's cloud and edge infrastructure, enabling security, compliance, operational excellence, and actionable business insights across Microsoft. By blending data, analytics and AI, we aim to unlock hidden insights to enhance Azure resiliency, efficiency and security posture, and deliver exceptional value to our partners and stakeholders.As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for sourcing, curating and building high quality datasets to enable various partner scenarios. You will be responsible for building highly scalable and low latency data pipelines that is capable of processing Petabytes of data. ResponsibilitiesBuilds scalable data models and data pipelines to extract, load and transform data, ensures secure data storage, with focus on data quality and compliance.Tackle challenges of scale and criticality that will broaden your engineering horizons.Supports identification of dependencies, and the development of design documents for a product feature with oversight.Assists and learns about breaking down work items into tasks and provides estimation.Works with appropriate stakeholders to determine user requirements for a feature.Acts as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) in monitoring system/product feature/service for degradation, downtime, or interruptions for simple problems, and recommends actions to restore system/product/service by following the playbook. |
