The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with network infrastructure, including Palo Alto firewalls and Cisco routers and switches. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining our network systems to ensure optimal performance and security. Key Responsibilities: Design and Implementation: Plan, design, and implement network solutions to meet business requirements. Configuration and Management: Configure and manage Palo Alto firewalls, ensuring robust security measures are in place. Network Maintenance: Maintain and troubleshoot Cisco routers and switches to ensure network reliability and performance. Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor network performance, identify issues, and optimize network operations. Security: Implement and manage network security protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems. Documentation: Maintain detailed network documentation and provide regular reports on network status and performance. Collaboration: Work closely with other IT team members and departments to support network-related projects and initiatives. Support: Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and resolve network-related issues promptly. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in network engineering. Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, PCNSE, or equivalent are highly desirable. Technical Skills: Proficiency in configuring and managing Palo Alto firewalls. Strong knowledge of Cisco routers and switches. Experience with network monitoring tools and protocols. Understanding of network security principles and best practices. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Additional Skills & Qualifications* Someone that has at least 5 years of real experience. Meaning they can do more then change vlans and update a device. As far as certifications. PCNSA and for Cisco CCNA or higher. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $115000.00 - $120000.00/yr. PTO policy for executives is an unlimited PTO policy. All you need to do is tell your dental office your full legal name, date of birth, and social security number or member ID. Your dentist will use that information to verify your eligibility and benefits, or you can show your UHC ID Card. A UHC dental benefit summary will be available for you to review the full plan details. Vision Plan - United Healthcare (UHC) As of January 1, 2025 , the vision plan will continue to be insured by UHC. To maximize your vision benefits, utilize an in-network vision provider to save you money. Vision Insurance cards are not required to verify your vision coverage. All you need to do is tell your vision office your full legal name, date of birth, and social security number, or show your UHC ID card. Your vision provider will use that information to verify your eligibility and benefits. A UHC vision benefit summary will be available for you to review the full plan details. CBIZ is the Flexible Spending Administrator. There are two accounts offered. If you wish to participate, you must make an election every plan year. * Health Care Flexible Spending Account * Dependent Care Spending Account Please review your eligibility to elect the Health Care FSA. If you enrolled in the High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) Gold plan and contribute to a Health Savings Account you are not eligible to participate in the Health FSA.
