Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Material Handler - 3 to join our dynamic team. In this full-time position, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient movement and storage of materials within our facility, contributing to the smooth operation and success of our operations.

Primary Duties

  • Receive, inspect, and document incoming materials, ensuring accuracy and compliance with specifications.
  • Organize and maintain inventory in designated areas to facilitate easy access and identification.
  • Utilize material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials safely throughout the facility.
  • Prepare and package materials for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and handling procedures are followed.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize workflows and improve material handling processes.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
  • Assist with periodic inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Must be able to operate Powered Lifting Equipment and have experience with a Side-Loader

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in operating material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage inventory and documentation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also independently managing responsibilities.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for clear interaction with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Problem-solving mindset to address challenges and streamline processes
  • Ability to utilize powered lifting equipment (Side Loader)

Education / Experience

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous experience in a material handling or warehouse environment is preferred but not mandatory. Certification to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment is a plus.
