Job Summary Develops, implements, and monitors standardized processes and key regulatory control mechanisms to ensure consistent and uniform compliance in all jurisdictions. Provides business and technical expertise to support the development and administration of the company's operational activities for compliance with federal and state pipeline safety regulations and company operations standards throughout CenterPoint Energy Gas Operations. Develops and implements processes and procedures and works with field personnel, engineers, technical specialists, regulatory agencies, operating regions, and departments to facilitate an ongoing understanding of, and ensure compliance with, regulatory initiatives and company policy across all Gas Operations. Essential Functions
Education Description Requires bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. In lieu of a degree, will consider relevant job-related CenterPoint Energy experience for a non-degree candidate totaling eight (8) years, where one (1) year of applicable college equals two (2) years of related work experience. Experience in lieu of educations is in addition to the Experience requirements. Experience Requires a minimum of seven (7) years of experience in Pipeline operations with subject matter expertise in at least one of the following areas: regulatory, gas operations, procedure writing, business, information technology, engineering, or process improvement.
