About the Role

The Implementation Manager is responsible for the delivery of all self-insured Disability and/or Leave Administration services. This is for outsourced and SaaS (Software-as-a-Solution) clients who have engaged Alight for all or part of their benefit program administration. Experience managing leave administration, self-insured disability outsourcing and SaaS and/or payroll implementations are key success factors.

Responsibilities

  • Driving project execution from inception through delivery and supporting hand off. Communicating status, risk and issues and manages goals for the project.
  • Managing necessary resources and ensuring they are assigned, engaged and know their roles and responsibilities. Partnering with internal and external team members to remove any obstacles blocking success.
  • Developing and maintain project artifacts and conduct regular reviews to ensure all participants are aware of progress, roadblocks and risks.
  • Attending client calls and internal meetings to communicate implementation progress. Additionally, lead important meetings with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Escalating critical unresolved issues, including recommendations for resolution. Communicating risks to key client stakeholders as appropriate.
  • Communicating proactively, clearly and frequently to the development and product stakeholders, executives, and clients as appropriate. Demonstrating an ability to proactively manage multiple stakeholders across several departments to agree upon solutions.
  • Presenting a timely and professional response to all customer issues. Building trust with client and is accountable for overall implementation.
  • Ensuring successful project outcomes, deliverables are on time and within budget, managing resources effectively. Leveraging appropriate team members to ensure overall performance and operations of the integrated implementation team.
  • Exchanging best practices and lessons learned with other team members. Identifying areas in need of improvement and take actions to bridge the gap. Identifying and acting on needs to help improve/maximize business results.

Requirements

  • Have Bachelor's in a business, management and/or technical field or equivalent work experience required.
  • 4+ years of experience managing large scale leave of absence, self-insured Disability and/or payroll implementations.
  • Project management (i.e. PMP) or Certified Leave Management Specialist (CLMS) certification is a preferred.
  • Have in depth understanding of the implementation processes and industry standard expectations and methods.
  • Have dynamic domain knowledge of leave of absence and self-insured Disability programs.
  • Display excellence in consulting, influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrate uses project management tools to manage the overall implementation effectively.

Salary Pay Range

Minimum :

112,500.00 USD

Maximum :

137,500.00 USD
