- As Chief Growth Officer (CGO), you will be a senior executive responsible for driving overall company growth by developing and refining strategies for expansion with the Chief Executive Officer and designated leaders/staff. This includes organic expansion in existing areas, as well as an expectation to migrate into new markets (e.g., Space and Test & Evaluation).
- While the position is a Senior Leadership role, Oak Grove Technologies maintains a lean staff, servant leadership ethos, and hands-on work ethic where leaders work at the tactical, operational, and strategic levels to ensure the quality of coordination and products to maximize Probability of Win (PWin). Thus, the CGO will at times be responsible for drafting, editing, and reviewing Requests for Information, Information Papers, Proposals, and similar work products.
- The CGO will be responsible for managing business development and capture efforts across the organization; specifically supervising/ driving priorities for the four Capture & Win directorates (Defense & Special Operations; Information Operations & Special Activities; Federal Law Enforcement & National Security; and Education & Learning).
- In addition to managing a personal pipeline of opportunities and relationships, the CGO will be responsible for curating the business's pipeline as assigned by the CEO across the four directorates, leading, mentoring, and developing the workforce, implementing, improving, and executing business development functions including but not limited to opportunity and lead screening, capture, teaming, gate reviews, proposal development, color reviews, and proposal submission.
- The CGO will have the support of the Chief Revenue Officer to effectively wield enterprise software resources for GovCon (Unanet ERP and CRM) to track and manage business development efforts across the divisions.
- The CGO will also have the support of enterprise business intelligence tools, such as GovTribe and HigherGov, as well as other systems that the Senior Leadership Team may choose.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Demonstrated success in senior leadership roles with over 5 years of experience in management, federal contracting, defense contracting, or related fields.
- Strong in opportunity identification, capture and proposal strategy, and managing BD lifecycles.
- Strong strategic planning and execution skills, with the ability to translate business goals into actionable plans.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and insights to drive decision-making.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving business needs.
