The Lead As
sembly Technician performs the assembly or sub-assembly of aerospace parts using drills, rivet tools, and other hand tools. Technicians verify compliance with customer requirements using calipers, gauges, and other measuring & inspection tools. Technicians must follow established procedures and work instructions to complete work in an efficient and timely manner while maintaining safe practices and high quality. The lead role takes responsibility for training new employees, mentoring their development, and performing inspections of their work, and for miscellaneous administrative tasks as directed by the Supervisor. The lead may act as interim supervisor in the Supervisor's absence.
