DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this role, you will support our Infrastructure and Economic Development Delivery Center as a server administrator representing our team and assisting with application and database administration duties. Work will rely upon your high level of technical expertise in server administration troubleshooting and Microsoft PowerShell. You will be responsible for supervising a team of contractors that support various business areas served by our delivery center. Work involves monitoring, maintaining, and resolving application problems as they arise at sites across the state; and coordinating with different teams for triage, repair, and the completion of assigned tasks. You will have the opportunity to:
- Act as a liaison to other agencies when sharing data or access to applications
- Serve as a leader across IT teams
- Function as a knowledgeable resource of current technologies and commonwealth guidelines compliance requirements
- Play a vital role as a team player who consults with supervisors and colleagues as needed to ensure that all delivery center applications and databases are up

- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch. Work schedule will be defined by work load or manager.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. You will be required to report in-office on Wednesday each week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as an Information Technology Generalist 2, Applications Developer 2, Database Analyst, Information Security Specialist 1, or Network Specialist 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Five years of information technology experience that includes two years of technical information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, network operation or network maintenance, web site development or web site design, database maintenance or database development, data analysis and data model development, administration of information technology security programs, or other information technology support/administration services; or
- Three years of information technology experience that includes two years of technical information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, network operation or network maintenance, web site development or web site design, database maintenance or database development, data analysis and data model development, administration of information technology security programs, or other information technology support/administration services, and an associate's degree in any information technology field; or
- One year of technical information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, network operation or network maintenance, web site development or web site design, database maintenance or database development, data analysis and data model development, administration of information technology security programs, or other information technology support/administration services, and a bachelor's degree in any information technology field; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:
- This particular position also requires three or more years of full-time experience in server administration troubleshooting.
- This particular position also requires three or more years of full-time experience using Microsoft PowerShell.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
