Apply today and take the next step in your career! About the Role: This insurance company is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Underwriting Services Representative to join our team. In this role, you'll support a group of 13 underwriters by assembling insurance policies, performing data entry, and handling paper-based documentation. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a quiet, independent work environment and enjoys working with numbers and documents. Key Responsibilities: * Assemble and prepare insurance policies and billing documents * Calculate rates and premiums using rating manuals and internal software * Issue new and renewal policies based on underwriter instructions * Process endorsements and apply pricing modifications * Maintain accurate premium coding and accounting records * Verify peer work for quality assurance * Collaborate with underwriters, marketing, claims, and other departments * Assist with data collection and experience rating * Handle scanning and filing of physical documents (non-paperless environment) * Perform other duties as assigned by leadership What We're Looking For: * 2+ years of administrative or data entry experience * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (must pass a basic Excel assessment with 70%+) * Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking * Comfortable working with paper files and older software systems * Ability to work independently in a quiet, corporate office setting Work Environment & Culture: * 100% onsite at our Bloomington, IL office * Business casual attire * Quiet, professional office with high/low cubicles and open-door management * Supportive team of 10 underwriting professionals * Access to insurance policy library, conference rooms, and training spaces Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $20.00/hr.
