Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Systems Cybersecurity professional to perform Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSO) in the C3I and Infrastructure Division (AFLCMC/HNI), which is located at Hanscom AFB, MA.

HNI focuses on providing enterprise support to over 110 active Air Force, Air National Guard (ANG), and Air Force Reserve installations and bases.

This position will be supporting the Enterprise Information Technology as a Service (EITaaS) branch which leverages best practices from commercial industry to provide standardized, innovative, and agile Information Technology (IT) services to the Air Force (AF) as a service.

WORK LOCATION: Hanscom, AFB, MA

JOB STATUS: Full-Time; salaried

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

• Bachelors degree and 3 years of experience, of which 3 years must be in the DoD
• OR 7 years of directly related experience, of which 5 years must be in the DoD
• IAM Level 2 certification (e.g. CAP, CASP+ CE, CISM, CISSP, GSLC, CCISO, HCISPP)
• MUST have an active US Security Clearance

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The individual shall ensure that all system deliverables comply with DoD and Air Force cybersecurity policy, specifically DoDI 8500.01, Cybersecurity, and AFI 17-130, Air Force Cybersecurity Program Management.

• The individual shall ensure compliance with DoD and Air Force Certification and Accreditation policies, specifically Department of Defense Instruction (DoDI) 8510.01, Risk Management Framework (RMF) for DoD Systems, and AFI 17-101, The Risk Management Framework (RMF) for Air Force Information Technology.

• The individual shall support activities and meet the requirements of DoDI 8520.02, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and Public Key (PK) Enabling, in order to achieve standardized, PKI-supported capabilities for biometrics, digital signatures, encryption, identification and authentication.
