Inventory Control Clerk Overnight Shift

The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for monitoring inventory levels to ensure accuracy and proper stock rotation by performing the following duties. Also, they are responsible for adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect assuring the quality and quantity of product produced.

Schedule: Overnight Shift

Responsibilities:

• Prepares reports to replenish picking inventory
• Coordinates transfers and sample/stability product requests
• Researches discrepancies in inventory
• Collects and prepares pull down requests for packers
• Logs cube and weight for new items
• Assists with the distribution of work
• Review drivers log
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred

Experience:

• Prior inventory experience within a manufacturing or warehousing environment required

Skills:

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions in English
• Ability to write simple correspondence in English
• Ability to effectively present information in English to other associate
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
• Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra
• Ability to solve practical problems
• Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
• Ability to utilize AS400 computer
• Ability to utilize Microsoft excel and word
• Ability to utilize Lotus Notes

Physical Demands:

• Regularly lifting up to 40lbs and occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 70lbs with assistance
• Work environment may be exposed to powders, chemicals and allergens (peanuts, tree nuts, milk, dairy, eggs, wheat, gluten, soy, fish and shellfish)

The approximate hourly pay for this position is $19.00*. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
