Position Summary:

The Lead, Sales Trainer delivers company and product training to retailers, sales teams, and consumers nationwide for the Atrium brand. Training methods include in-person sessions, presentations, webinars, recorded modules, and consumer events. This remote role offers extensive opportunities for face-to-face connection with clients and partners across the country, as frequent travel enables meaningful, hands-on engagement that fosters strong customer relationships.

This position will be either a remote or hybrid role based on the selected candidate's geographic location. Preference will be given to applicants who live within a commutable distance of Bridgewater, New Jersey/Tri-State area, Chicago, Illinois, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida and/or within the Long Island, New York areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivers field training for Sales Teams through hands-on coaching and feedback, enhancing essential skills for both new and experienced sales representatives
  • Provides customer-facing training to drive business growth
  • Development and delivery of training content via New Hire Training, On-going Training, including but not limited to annual/local/virtual meetings, product launches and/or other training courses a
  • Conducts regular training needs assessments to determine priorities & goals for training curriculum
  • Measure field training effectiveness by conducting skills assessments to demonstrate comprehension & application by learners
  • Collaborates with Sales Managers to develop action plans that enhance skills and implement reinforcement activities for individuals and groups
  • Lead execution of reinforcement tactics across field sales teams related to training of new product(s) & current portfolio to quickly build proficiency
  • Delivery of training content via new hire training, on-going training, including but not limited to annual/local/virtual meetings, product launches and/or other training courses as assigned
  • Coordinates and conducts in-store and virtual trainings pertaining to the organization's mission, philosophy, history, product features and benefits, positioning, and competitor comparisons
  • Leverages digital tools and innovative technologies to enhance training delivery and effectivenesscontinuously exploring new digital trends to keep the training programs at the forefront of industry standards

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required in Business Administration, Clinical Sciences, or similar
  • 2 + years of sales experience in the healthcare industry or consumer health environment with selling &/or training in the Vitamin, Minerals, Herbals, and Supplements (VMHS) space preferred
  • Advanced Selling Skills and ability to teach selling skills
  • Strong business acumen for strategic account planning & execution for the achievement of sales results
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively use digital tools and technologies to improve work outcomes, with a strong understanding of emerging digital trends and their relevance in a modern workplace
  • Understanding of nutritional science and relevant industry regulations (e.g., FDA, FTC, DSHEA in the U.S.)
  • Travel required approximately 50-75% of the time
  • Nice to have : 2+ years of medical/clinical sales training experience or sales training in consumer health/VMHS, with certifications in Instructional Design and Training/Facilitation

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, results oriented
  • Flexibility and ability to work cross-functionally on multidisciplinary teams

The approximate pay range for this position is $125,000- $140,000 base. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
