Position Summary: The Americas FP&A role serves as a strategic financial business partner to the CEO and CFO, driving business results for a $16 billion externally reported segment. This role provides oversight and leadership for financial planning and analysis, ensuring alignment with long-term business objectives and delivering insights to support executive decision-making. The position leads a team of 40 professionals and directly supports the CEO and CFO of the Americas segment in achieving financial and operational goals. Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Financial Partnership: Act as a trusted business partner to the CEO and CFO, driving business performance and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. Financial Leadership: Direct planning, forecasting, and reporting of financial results, including outlooks, actuals reporting, annual planning, and long-range planning for the Americas segment. Team Leadership: Lead a team of 40 FP&A professionals, fostering collaboration, development, and high performance across the function. Executive Support: Provide financial insights and recommendations to the CEO and CFO of the Americas segment, enabling informed decision-making and driving organizational success. Performance Management: Analyze and interpret financial data to identify risks and opportunities, ensuring satisfactory performance against financial plans. Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, systems, and reporting to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Counseling & Guidance: Provide direction and counsel to the business leadership team and support financial resources on key business and financial issues.
Qualifications:
Education: University degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in finance, accounting, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, business partnering, or related areas. Leadership: Proven track record of leading and developing large teams, with 40+ direct and indirect reports preferred. Operational Expertise: Demonstrated ability to manage FP&A for a large, complex segment, ideally with revenues exceeding $16 billion. Executive Communication: Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior executives and stakeholders. Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in financial planning tools, systems, and methodologies.
