Your Opportunity: Taylor's Prime Labels and Packaging Group is looking for an experienced and driven Account Manager with a strong background in flexible packaging and estimating to join our team in North Mankato, MN! In this role, you will serve as the primary liaison between our customers and internal teams, ensuring excellent service, accurate pricing, and successful execution of projects from quote to delivery. You will play a key role in maintaining and growing customer relationships, while also contributing to the continuous improvement of estimating processes and workflow efficiencies.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, building trusted relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with estimating, production, prepress, and scheduling teams to manage job requirements and expectations
  • Interpret customer specifications and translate them into accurate quotes for flexible packaging projects
  • Review, analyze, and submit estimates, ensuring alignment with material yields, production capabilities, and profitability targets
  • Proactively identify opportunities for growth and upselling within existing accounts
  • Resolve customer issues with a sense of urgency, professionalism, and ownership
  • Track and monitor order status, communicating updates clearly and consistently to customers
  • Partner with operations to ensure on-time delivery, high quality, and continuous improvement in service and execution
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of materials, printing technologies, pouching formats, and finishing capabilities relevant to flexible packaging
  • Utilize ERP and estimating systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency in job setup and invoicing

You Must Have:

  • 3+ years of experience in account management within the printing or packaging industry
  • Proven experience in estimating for flexible packaging, including knowledge of material yields and production workflows
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
  • Experience working cross-functionally with internal teams and external clients
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)

We Would Also Prefer:

  • Experience using ERP systems such as Radius, EFI, LabelTraxx, or similar platforms
  • Familiarity with pouching, lamination, and flexographic/digital printing processes
  • Understanding of sustainable packaging trends and materials
  • Background in CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) market packaging

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $50,000 - 60,000. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation's total compensation and benefits package for employee.
