Senior Customer Pricing Analyst

The Opportunity:

Avantor is looking for a dedicated Senior Customer Pricing Analyst to join our Global Customer Pricing & Reporting organization. The successful candidate will serve as a business partner to the sales organization to drive pricing strategies that deliver growth, profitability and support Avantor's customer needs.

We are seeking a detail-oriented / self-motivated team player with an equal balance of pricing knowledge, analytics, and interpersonal skills. Process improvement is a big part of our culture and, as such, having transformational project experience would be a plus.

This role is Hybrid - onsite at Radnor, PA office 2 - 3 days per week, remote remaining days.

What we are looking for:

Minimum Education Requirement:

  • Highschool/ GED

Required Experience (3 +yrs):

  • In pricing, contracts or related.
  • Project leader/self-starter
  • Prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency using Excel and data manipulation
  • Working independently
  • Contributing team player
  • Business level interpersonal skills
  • Problem solving
  • Business level math and analytical skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Business level communication skills - both written and verbal

Preferred Experience:

  • Pricing project / transformation
  • SAP
  • Qlikview/Qliksense and PriceFx or similar tools
  • Organizational & time management skills

Travel:

* Up to 10%

How you will thrive and create an impact:

  • Analyzes, evaluates, and implements pricing to improve profitability within compliance guidelines of contract, working with internal and external customers to execute.
  • Provides support and makes recommendations to regional sales managers and sales representatives regarding contracts, pricing, and reporting.
  • Focuses on setting objectives and plans to impact short-term operational results.
  • Manages specific key accounts in their entirety including customer communications, audits, pricing executions, RFPs etc.
  • Supports the SOX initiatives, specifically with monitoring and auditing routine price changes, uniform pricing requirements and other key terms and conditions as required.
  • Evaluates and implements updates to contracts based on corporate driven changes and initiatives (price change from supplier, fx).
  • Present file information to internal stakeholders across partnering business units.
  • Support process improvement / transformation projects
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
