Provides a high level of service to international patients and families, referring embassies and multiple NCH service lines. Follows international patients from inquiry to discharge providing support and outstanding customer service. Collaborates with the Global Patient Services team including the Nurse Navigator, Financial Coordinator, Patient Experience Coordinator, and Manager of Operations to ensure all aspects of the patient and families' visit is well coordinated.
Essential Functions:
- Initiates and leads the multi-disciplinary assessment process for embassy-sponsored inquiries. Provide back-up support for other referral sources when needed.
- Communicates directly with referring embassies regarding inquiries, scheduling and on boarding of patients and assist with other requests.
- Acts as the liaison between the family and the service line-assisting international patients/families with scheduling their appointments and any follow-ups.
- Greets patients/families upon arrival, including at airport. Provides tours for families and escort to appointments when needed.
- Available to meet patients/families, answer questions, and address complaints in Global Patient Services office or other locations.
- Provides consolidated medical reports to patients/families at the end of treatment to help with follow up in home country.
Education Requirement:
- High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
- Bachelor's Degree, preferred

Skills:
- Fluent in relevant language with strong linguistic skills and cultural awareness.
- Familiarity with Epic system
- Ability to analyze and interpret data
- Effective customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
Experience:
Twoyears of professional experience with international patient program, required.
