*Job Summary* We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Customer Experience Specialist I to join our team in a dynamic call center environment. This entry-level role supports the Consumer Direct Lending process by guiding customers through the loan origination journey after their initial consultation with a licensed loan officer. You will be the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring a smooth and supportive experience from application to loan closing.
*Key Responsibilities* * Serve as a customer success advocate in a high-volume call center setting * Handle inbound and outbound calls and text messages (with consumer consent) * Manage a pipeline of up to 75 active loans, averaging 60 loans per week * Respond to approximately 30 customer calls per day, often with repeat interactions * Perform routine data entry and validation tasks * Communicate with internal departments and third parties to resolve issues * Monitor work queues and take proactive steps to ensure timely processing * Conduct basic research to resolve customer inquiries * Escalate complex issues to associates or supervisors as needed * Meet established production and quality standards * Adhere to company policies and procedures * Demonstrate behaviors aligned with organizational values *Qualifications* * Minimum 1 year of experience in Financial Services; mortgage industry experience preferred * Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently * Proven experience in high-volume customer service via phone * Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and time management skills * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and other mainstream applications *Preferred Skills* * Mortgage industry knowledge * Call center experience * Familiarity with CRM systems and loan processing tools *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
