Description Our client is seeking an experienced Shipping and Receiving Specialist in Timonium, Maryland to support our fast-growing Data division. They are one of the top wireless integrators in the US specializing in construction, security, data, LMR, etc. With an increased workload and natural attrition they are looking for a reliable, self-motivated shipping and receiving specialist to join their data team in Timonium. The warehouse will be a slower paced environment and the main goal will be organization, accurate tracking, labeling, inventory management, project setup support for materials, and cross functional communication with vendors and internal teams. It is preferred they have experience with telecommunications but not needed. This resource will have a list including part numbers that will be specifically aligned to projects, streamlining the process for project setup. Individuals should have experience in verifying deliveries v packing slips, inventory tracking and accuracy, material organization, computer literacy, spreadsheet tracking, staging equipment, keep warehouse clean and organized, and support purchasing teams. This resource will be working in the warehouse by themselves so it is critical this individual is highly reliable, self motivated, and self-accountable. Management/leadership will be able to assist with support as needed but this is a stand-alone position. Skills Microsoft office, Asset management, organizational and planning skills, inventory tracking, netsuite, computer literacy, telecommunication, construction, inventory accuracy, inventory purchasing, pm support, job setup Top Skills Details Microsoft office,Asset management,organizational and planning skills,inventory tracking,netsuite,computer literacy Additional Skills & Qualifications WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: * Perform shipping and receiving functions, including, but not limited to the following: * Verify deliveries against packing slips for accuracy and inspect for damage. * Receive inventory into the accounting system of record. * Identify, separate, label, and palletize deliveries by project. * Support shipping and mobilization of material. * Stage equipment orders for projects * Facilitate return of equipment from projects * Monitor and maintain uncommitted inventory and supplies. * Perform tasks to ensure safety, organization, and cleanliness of the warehouse. * Use tools such as a stacker, forklift, and pallet jack. * Communicate consistently and effectively with management, purchasing, engineering, sales, project management and installation teams. * Provide support of delivery of materials to job site as needed. * Assist with management of general building maintenance. * Perform computer functions necessary to track various aspects of goods. * Inventory management, including supporting manual inventory counts. * Address inventory control issues as they arise. * Actively and collaboratively support logistic process optimization. * Support Purchasing Team WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM: * Minimum of 2 years experience in logistics * Proficiency in MS Office Suite, such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams * Strong communication and organization skills * Familiarity with telecommunications preferred.
