Manufacturing Engineer

• Review product designs for manufacturability, tolerances, quality standards, and cost efficiency.
• Determine fixture and gage needs for new components and handle design or procurement.
• Create manufacturing documentation, including sketches, setup sheets, and shop floor instructions.
• Program CNC machines, troubleshoot start-up issues, and optimize cutting parameters for efficiency and quality.
• Diagnose and resolve machinery and process problems on the shop floor.
• Operate and work hands-on with various CNC lathes, machining centers, and related equipment.
• Collaborate across departments to enhance productivity and maintain high product quality.
• Participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues.

• Proficient in CAD/CAM with knowledge of drawing, design, and dimensioning standards
• Experienced in setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes; mill/turn machine experience is a plus
• Familiar with general machine shop practices, measuring techniques, and machining principles
• Strong shop math skills and understanding of work holding methods
• Competent in Microsoft Office and general computer applications
• Able to work independently, with strong communication skills and adaptability to both office and manufacturing environments
