We are seeking a full-time, 40-hour LPN to support the practice onsite, Monday through Friday from 8:30am-5:00pm. This LPN will be supporting traditional clinical duties such as phone triage, office visits, patient education, injections, in basket management, and assisting our team of medical assistants with clinical duties as needed. This is an opportunity to work autonomously as an LPN, while also collaborating closely with our Registered Nurse for care coordination, patient education, and clinical decision-making support as needed. Education Trade/Technical/Vocational Diploma Licensed Practical Nurse required Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No Licenses and Credentials Licensed Practical Nurse [LPN - State License] - Generic - HR Only required Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] - Data Conversion - Various Issuers preferred Experience Medical experience 0-1 year preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Basic knowledge of patient education: interviewing and listening skills, teaching and engagement techniques, understanding of health-related conditions and information. - Ability to accurately perform vital signs and obtain pertinent health information including but not limited to; temperature, pulse, respirations, blood pressure, height, and weight. - Ability to administer medication; routes of administration may include injections, intravenous and oral medications. - Knowledge and ability to perform specific procedures and tests as appropriate to the clinical setting. - Ability to communicate in a professional, courteous, clear and concise manner.
