LifeShield focuses on life and supplemental accident and health insurance products for individuals, families, businesses and associations, while IAC specializes in Medicare Supplement and group life policy administration.

Individual Assurance Company is seeking exceptional individuals to join our team in the role of Life Administration Supervisor.

Responsibilities Include:



  • Provide leadership to the team, guiding and motivating employees to work towards common goals.
  • Set the tone for the team inspire confidence and create a positive and productive work environment,
  • Make informed decisions that align with the organization's objectives
  • Analyze information, assess risk and choose the best course of action to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Identify and solve problems that may arise within their area of responsibility.
  • Adapt at addressing challenges and finding practical solutions to keep operations running smoothly
  • Develop plans, allocate tasks and ensure that the team is working cohesively towards the organizations goals.
  • Develop and nurture team members to include training, mentorship and opportunities for professional growth.
  • Evaluate the performance of the team members to include setting performance expectations, conducting regular assessments, and providing constructive feedback to support individual and team development.


Position Requirements:



  • A minimum of one to three years recent Insurance experience leading/managing, motivating, and developing a team to meet and exceed assigned goals within a goal.
  • Supervisory abilities, including leadership skills, sound decision making, the ability to motivate others, and the capability to address conflict in a positive and productive manner
  • Excellent customer service skills, including interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft applications (Word, Outlook, Excel etc.).
