Cloud Architect Gromelski and Associates, Inc. (GAI) partners with prime contractors to provide professional services. Key service areas include Engineering Design and Documentation; Software Development and Testing; System Integration, Testing and Evaluation; Lab Management and Field Installation; Integrated Logistics Support, Training Development and Delivery, Multimedia Support, and Technical System Support. Cloud Architect Job Description: Performs software, development and testing on a forward-looking team for private cloud solutions and microservices containerization development. The Cloud Engineer participates in all phases of the Software lifecycle to include Design, Development, Integration and Test. Cloud Architect Required Skills: * Demonstrated experience in developing and deploying microservices to a Kubernetes cluster * Experience in rearchitecting existing monolithic applications into microservices * Experience with developing data architecture for microservices * Demonstrated proficiency with Containerization * Experience with Helm * Experience with container technologies such as Podman, K3s * Experience working with CNI, Virtual IP load balancers such as Calico or Multus, Kube-Vip Cloud Architect Desired Skills:
* Experience with C++ and Java software development * Experience developing deployment architectures for microservices * Experience deploying DevSecOps pipelines in Microsoft Azure * Experience tuning a Kubernetes network Cloud Architect Additional Requirements: * Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or equivalent STEM field and at least 3 years of experience; or equivalent experience/combined education. * Effective oral and written communication skills. * Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level clearance which means you must be a U.S. Citizen.
