Position Title: Prep
Wage: $20.00 per hour Shift: 1st QPS Employment Group has a great Prep position at a company in Pardeeville, WI. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire. Apply now! Prep Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Hand scrape and rub spices on cheeses - Hand cutting or using machinery to cut cheese to company specifications - Label individual cheese to company specifications - Assemble boxes for final product - Place final product and sealing the boxes with seal machine - Attend staff and department meetings - Participate in initiatives that improve workplace safety, reduce waste and improve factory efficiencies - Take product samples for Quality Assurance Department - Complete pallet cards and control point paperwork - Move the final product for the material handlers Prep Requirements: - Process flow knowledge of cheesemaking, prep, and packaging - Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers - Basic computer skills including e-mail, word processing and spreadsheets - Good written and verbal communication skills - Able to work with automated equipment - Able to multi-task and prioritize under pressure - Able to work in cross-functional teams - Excellent attendance - Good organization and problem-solving skills - Strong attention to detail - Able to work with significant supervision - Able to lift up to 50lbs monroe@qpsemployment.com IND038 About us: QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
