We are seeking a strategic leader to join our team as Senior Manager, Salty Health & Wellness Portfolio Strategy. In this high-impact role, you will drive strategic thinking and problem-solving to shape and accelerate delivery of Hershey's Salty Snacks growth aspirations. You will have specific responsibility for defining total portfolio strategy for Hershey's "Health and Wellness" (H&W) Salty Snacks portfolio, inclusive of SkinnyPop and Pirates Booty brands, and any relevant future portfolio additions. This work will require close collaboration with cross-functional teams and senior leaders. You will need to be able to operate both at a detailed, analytical level and as an influential voice and emerging company leader. Responsibilities:
* Assess, refine, and develop Hershey's Salty Snacks H&W portfolio strategy - clarifying long-term direction while identifying and accelerating near-term opportunities, particularly those beyond our core business or requiring new capabilities
* Lead priority projects, as identified in coordination with Hershey's Salty Snacks Leadership Team
* Develop executive-level material for H&W Steering Committee, inclusive of Salty Snacks President and Salty Snacks Leadership Team
* Partner across the organization to align and accelerate strategic initiatives, e.g.,
* Working with Consumer Insights to surface insights and implications from macro-trends to inform strategic direction
* Collaborating with R&D and marketing to identify portfolio expansion opportunities through category expansion and product innovation
* Partnering with Corporate Strategy and Growth Office counterparts to tie Salty Snacks H&W portfolio strategy to broader enterprise H&W portfolio strategy
* Supporting Strategic Planning with Hershey Enterprise Strategy and Finance teams
Skills:
* Strategic Problem Solving: Strong analytical and structured thinking; ability to frame complex problems, generate hypotheses, and use data to inform clear recommendations and drive decisions
* Executive Leadership: Proven ability to influence and lead across levels, including both peers and senior executives
* Storytelling and Communication: Skilled in distilling complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives grounded in data and tailored to audiences
* Team Leadership: Experience leading broad cross-functional teams with multiple individuals at varying levels in the organization
* Collaboration & Agility: Comfort navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
* Financial and Retail Data Acumen: Familiarity with basic financial management and business value drivers in CPG (P&L, balance sheet); experience working with retail data
Experience:
* 6-10 years of combined experience leading strategic initiatives in a CPG company or strategic consulting firm generally preferred
* Experience leading strategic and data-driven recommendations and decisions is a must, with understanding of market research and techniques preferred
* Experience driving change in a complex business environment and people leadership experience is required
