Business Operations Manager

Nashville, TN

7am to 4pm Central time

$83K

The Business Operations Manager leads operations strategy to optimize processes and drive growth. Oversees daily operations while developing strategies to enhance productivity and profitability. Responsibilities include analyzing performance metrics, streamlining workflows, managing resources, and ensuring departmental alignment with company goals. Requires strong analytical and leadership skills with experience in operational best practices. Must excel at cross-departmental collaboration, problem-solving, and translating strategic vision into practical action plans.

Responsibilities

  • Work with account leaders to create and maintain clear, concise SOPs as required.

  • Review and maintain all invoice and work order documentation for client submission.

  • Support the development, reporting, and data analytics of facilities engineering management operations and performance metrics.

  • Work with third party service providers to ensure service delivery is effective and aligns to contractual requirements.

  • Provide support for facility operations to ensure standards adherence and audit readiness.

  • Facilitate internal assessments and audits with third party service partners to coordinate and monitor progress as needed.

  • Develop and or draft documents, playbooks, standards, and other administrative support mechanisms to ensure standardization and performance optimization.

  • Maintain or establish and manage automated solutions that include reporting, analytics, and visualization capabilities for mission critical operations.

  • Assist with ad hoc data analysis tasks that come from the client.

  • Work within the Corrigo CMMS work order process and associated data platforms as it specifically relates to performance management/reporting and maximizing capabilities.

Funding Requests and Budget Authorization (BA) Management:

  • Key Responsibilities

    Funding Management
    • Work with Finance to gather documentation

    • Organize vendor invoices alphabetically with cover pages

    • Upload packages to client portal

    • Participate in funding review meetings and document key points

    Baseline Adjustment Process
    • Create adjustment requests following established guidelines

    • Collect and organize supporting documentation

    • Complete required templates and save as PDFs

    • Upload to client system and update tracking spreadsheets

    • Monitor qualifying projects in Corrigo

    • Participate in review meetings and track approval status

    System Management
    • Upload approved documents to Corrigo

    • Maintain asset and warranty data

    Team Support
    • Communicate complex information effectively

    • Work both independently and collaboratively

    • Support cross-functional project teams

    • Document operational processes

    • Contribute to improvement programs

    • Conduct training when needed

    • Recommend performance-enhancing changes

Qualifications & Skills

  • High School Diploma/GED required; 4-year college degree preferred.

  • 3-5 years of related experience (Facilities/Project/Operations Management), with strong analytical background; experience in commercial real estate a plus

  • Background in facilities management, engineering, operations, construction/design is preferred.

  • Team player. Possesses ability to effectively collaborate and influence people at all levels in the organization through strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Flexible, process-oriented, organized, with excellent analytical & troubleshooting skills.

  • Demonstrated experience establishing and meeting goals, tracking, and driving enhancement opportunities, and presenting progress of the same to senior management.

  • Comfort-level with ambiguity and high-pressure environments

  • Ability to think strategically across the organization to identify opportunities to improve overall performance efficiency.

  • Highly self-driven and accountable for deliverables; possesses a "can-do" attitude.

  • Data-driven and detail-oriented, with an eye for the larger picture and long-term implications

  • Strong Project Management & Analytical skills

  • Ability to lead a team across all levels of an organization, collaborate with and influence peers to execute deliverables accurately and on time.

  • Understanding of change management and a willingness to challenge the status quo, drive continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Sound judgment, initiative, resourcefulness, tenacity, and the flexibility to operate independently in a dynamic environment.

  • Strong organizational, time-management and execution skills

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering results.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, SharePoint, Teams and other online collaboration tools.

83,000.00 - 102,000.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
