Manufacturer Collector

Smart Care Equipment Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Manufacturer Collector to join our team. The ideal candidate is proactive in communication, driven in both collaborative and independent settings and is excited to be part of a team that provides exceptional service to our manufacturer partners.

What You Will Do:

• Conduct collections of Manufacturer accounts via outbound phone calls, aging reports, order review, intranet websites, various customer portals, and email correspondence with Manufacturer contacts
• Utilize strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate in a professional manner to maintain the business relationship while collecting on past due AR
• Research and resolve disputes and invoice issues in a timely manner
• Provide accurate information as needed by customers, sales, and credit

Basic Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience working in credit, finance, accounting, customer service, and/or related technical or customer service field
• Proven analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong critical thinking and decisionmaking skills
• Ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing manufacturers' needs and expectations.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in the food equipment industry

• Bachelor's degree in a finance, accounting, business or a related field
• Credit/collections experience and/or customer service experience related to large corporate customers
• Experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, etc)
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
