Job Responsibilities:

1. Supplier Identification & Evaluation



  • Research and identify potential suppliers based on quality, cost, capacity, reliability, and compliance.
  • Conduct supplier assessments, and capability reviews when necessary.


2. Strategic Sourcing



  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with company goals (cost savings, sustainability, risk reduction, etc.).
  • Analyze spend data to identify opportunities.
  • Lead sourcing initiatives for the Facilities Management Department and work closely with Central Sourcing.


3. Request for Proposals (RFPs) & Quotations (RFQs)



  • Prepare and review RFPs, RFQs, and other bid documents.
  • Evaluate proposals and bids based on cost, technical merit, and vendor performance history.


4. Negotiation & Contracting



  • Support contract renewals, renegotiations, and amendments as needed.


5. Cost Optimization & Value Analysis



  • Identify cost-saving opportunities through alternative sourcing, or vendor consolidation.
  • Conduct total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis and evaluate value-added offerings from suppliers.


6. Supplier Relationship Management



  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
  • Monitor supplier performance and support vendor scorecard programs.
  • Address and resolve supplier issues including quality, delivery, or service concerns.


7. Internal Collaboration



  • Collaborate with stakeholders in procurement, IT, operations, legal, and finance to ensure sourcing needs are met.
  • Gather input on sourcing specifications and business requirements.
  • Provide guidance to departments on sourcing processes and supplier capabilities.


8. Reporting & Compliance



  • Maintain accurate records of sourcing activity, contracts, and supplier performance.
  • Ensure adherence to internal procurement policies, ethical standards, and applicable regulations.
  • Develop & generate sourcing reports, KPIs, and status updates to leadership.


Required Minimum Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree as outline below in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is preferred.

Candidates who possess equivalent advanced technical knowledge via an associate degree, relevant professional certifications, training in trades programs, vocational or technical school, partially completed coursework at a college/university, or apprenticeship sponsor organization will be considered.

Experience is to be in project management in a comparable position leading or supporting the delivery of construction projects.

Experience requirements may be flexible if a candidate holds a master's degree and/or certifications or licenses such as a Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Construction Manager (CCM), Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC), LEED AP, Registered Architect (RA), Professional Engineer (P.E.), or other relevant professional certification or license.

Salary Range: Minimum 33.90/hour - Maximum 55.98/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
