Job Description:
The School District of Milton is seeking applicants for a vacant Part-Time Evening Custodian position at West Elementary School. This position will start as soon as possible and the employee will be working four (4) hours per day (twenty (20) hours per week). This position will begin at 4:00 p.m. and end at 8:00 p.m. A starting wage of $18.50 per hour is offered, with additional compensation for candidates with years of custodial/maintenance experience. Qualifications: The School District of Milton is seeking individuals who will be able to clean all assigned areas and maintain the building and grounds in a condition of operating excellence. Job duties and responsibilities include use of proper methods and equipment; collect and dispose of trash; recondition floors; clean light fixtures; setup and dismantle equipment for events; unload and check freight; and minor maintenance. Candidates should be organized, have strong communication skills, and be able to maintain positive and respectful interactions with staff, students and the public.
