ARES has an exciting opportunity for a Cyber Team Product Owner.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage, coordinate, oversee, and serve as lead for execution of BOSS provided cyber team.
  • The Cyber Team Product Owner must act as the single source of programmatic knowledge and ownership of assigned work for the cyber support.
  • Duties include providing and identifying management and network access to authorized personnel for OPIR TAP Lab Systems.
  • Execute an appropriate set of impact baseline security controls to ensure compliance with applicable requirements to achieve and maintain the ATO of applicable network enclaves.
  • Ability to manage and carry out all applicable assessments, authorization and continuous monitoring activities to safeguard against threats and hazards to the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the information networks. Ability to assess/ re-assess, report, recommend, and implement mitigation plans for the OPIR TAP Lab enclaves and associated documentation whenever there is a change or discovered degradation to the security posture of the OPIR TAP Lab enclaves (e.g. change of firewalls, major h/w s/w upgrades, patches, etc.)

EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCIES/SKILLS:

  • Ability to manage, coordinate, oversee, and support development, coordination, and submission of Risk Management Framework (RMF) packages necessary to achieve and maintain Authority to Operate (ATO), Authority to Connect (ATC), Interim Authorization to Test (IATT), and any other enclave accreditations/approvals as required.
  • Execute and ensure the minimum-security requirements are identified and implemented for any proposed cloud or hybrid-cloud system designs.
  • In the case where cloud-based services are to be used, additional security controls and assessment activities specified for Security Authorization of Information Systems in Cloud Computing Environments.
  • Knowledge and expertise with implementation actions associated with Federal Information Security Management
  • Act of 2014 (FISMA), Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular A-130, Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS 199/200), National Institute for Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publications (SP) (800
  • Series), Department of Defense (DOD), Air Force and Air Force Space Command Cybersecurity Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements for DoD Information Networks.
  • Ability to mitigate all security risks found during the Assessment and Accreditation (A&A) development activities, as well as throughout the continuous monitoring activities.
  • Ability to manage, organize, plan and lead the Cyber Security Support work and coordinate personnel and resources to execute the delivery of services and products.

EDUCATION:

  • A BS/BA degree or higher with ten (10) or more year's relevant experience. Experience must be relevant to specific project requirements. An advanced degree can substitute for four (4) years of experience.
  • At a minimum, the Cyber Team Product Owner shall have a CISSP, CASP or equivalent advanced certification per DoD 8140.03, 10 years of industry-related experience, and possess a current TS Clearance with SCI Eligibility
