Position Title:Special Assets Coordinator Business Unit:Credit Reports to:Manager of Special Assets Administration Position Overview: This position is primarily responsible for supporting the Special Assets Department including processing the department's charge off requests, compiling SACC agendas and packets, assisting the Special Assets Officers with daily NSF decisioning and a wide variety of loan payment/maintenance issues. Primary Responsibilities: Reviews the department's charge off forms for compliance with department standards and contacts Special Assets Officers with any questions. Processes and verifies the charge off transactions. Prepares and maintains the department's monthly charge off report and spreadsheet. Creates agendas for SACC and SACC Lite using SACC database reports and information from Navigator loan system. Communicates with Officers throughout the Bank to compile their SACC info and create their SACC packets for each presentation. Pulls and distributes daily NSF reporting for Special Assets Officers and assists with the pay/return decision with Deposit Operations. Processes incoming wire payments and complex loan payments and maintenance. Pulls and distributes weekly delinquency reports to department personnel. Enters department expenses from all Special Assets Officers into the Special Asset Expense database. Assists Special Assets Officers with payoff quotes and processing full loan payoffs. Processes settlements for all previously charged off loans for all Special Assets Officers. Verifies processed transactions to ensure settled loans are taken off the Bank's loan system. Annotates bankruptcy notification on loan system including any special handling instructions. Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.
