Receiving Lift Truck Operator

Job Summary:

As a Receiving Lift Truck Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently picking up and delivering products to designated locations using a lift truck.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

- Inspect the lift truck and complete the daily inspection form at the beginning of each shift

- Mount and dismount the lift truck throughout the shift to check the products

- Scan product information to enter details and complete necessary paperwork

- Confirm container/product quality by verifying tag numbers with report information

- Load/unload materials to relocate to designated areas

- Notify management of any materials that cannot be located

- Maintain the equipment in good working condition

- Inspect dock doors, chocks, pull chains, bumpers, and pads and report any repair needs to supervision

- Immediately report any incidents

- Work safely with complete adherence to all safety procedures

Performance Expectations:

- Reaching, bending, twisting, stooping, walking, and squatting throughout the shift

- Ability to work around heavy industrial equipment and lift up to 50 lbs.

Experience/Education Requirements:

- High School diploma or equivalent preferred

- Previous lift truck experience preferred

- Ability to read and write effectively

- Basic Math skills

Other Requirements:

- Maintain Lift Truck Certification

- Overtime may be required on occasion

- Perform any other duties as assigned
