Description

The Entrepreneurship Librarian actively contributes to the Research Support and Engagement (RSE) team by supporting the implementation of departmental operations, initiatives, projects, and goals. The Entrepreneurship Librarian serves as a subject matter expert in the Social Sciences with a specialized focus on entrepreneurship and innovation, providing in-depth research support, training, and guidance across disciplines including STEM fields where commercialization, intellectual property, and market translation intersect with social and economic impact.

The librarian will:



  • Analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate specialized entrepreneurship services and initiatives that support the research lifecycle at WVU.
  • Deliver general reference and research support services to WVU and the broader campus community.
  • Monitor trends in relevant areas to inform the design and delivery of library services and functions specific to RSE's service portfolio.
  • Serve and actively contribute to relevant committees, task forces, and working groups at the Library, University, regional, and/ or national level.
  • Engage in professional development / research related to the individual's assignment and/or the needs of the Libraries and the University.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in library science from an ALA accredited program.
