The Senior Solutions Consultant works within the SWP Solutions Consulting Team that plays a critical role in client and prospect transformation as well as the SEI Wealth Platform business development process.

Responsibilities will span the sales process from first call to discovery, proposal, and ultimately contracting. This role is key in articulating and documenting the SWP service offering during the sales process, with a decided focus on providing needed expertise and experience around investment processing services. Through extensive interaction with prospects and clients, this position is also responsible for identifying and documenting future product and service requirements that are not currently part of the SWP service offering.

What you will do:

Responsible for participating in solutions consulting activities related to Wealth Management Services' SEI Wealth Platform sales initiatives, including:

  • Building relationships with Private Banking prospects
  • Leading prospect due diligence activities (RFI, RFP, Services Discovery)
  • Gathering client requirements and completing service gap analysis
  • Conducting SWP demonstrations
  • Alternately supporting and leading prospect sales meetings
  • Alternately supporting and leading client relationship and strategic meetings
  • Supporting RFP fulfilment with the ability to perform necessary due diligence and research to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintaining a current understanding of the SEI Wealth Platform services and future roadmap. While this must include a broad suite of services, this role will need to provide focus on SEI's business process outsourcing capabilities and our back-office services, with the ability to articulate the most up-to-date information to both internal and external constituents.
  • Providing market requirements and participating in Service Definition development

The individual will provide front line technical support for the sales team by demonstrating an excellent understanding of investment management topics, including modeling, trade flow, Unified Management Household, Pre & Post Trade Compliance, Performance, and more. The individual will be able to demonstrate a strong knowledge of SEI's solutions and services, the best industry practices and be able to relate these to the business models of prospects and clients, identifying areas for change and improvement.

The Senior Solutions Consultant will alternately lead and participate in key phases of the sales process, coordinating resources focused on investment management and working with current and prospective clients to produce a target operating model and identify gaps and solutions.

The position will involve extensive travel (50%) to prospects in the US and possibly some international travel.

What we need from you:

  • BA/BS degree in related field; or the equivalent in education and work experience
  • A minimum of 7 years industry related experience
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the US wealth management market, specifically the needs of private banks, trust companies, large RIAs, and family offices.
  • Communicate a solid knowledge of the US market, including specific products and services, and the local regulatory environment. This must include an understanding of the investment management workings within our segments and SEI's ability to improve efficiency and experience.
  • Oversee the sales process, contributing to RFPs/RFIs, conducting discovery sessions, facilitating playback meetings, and documenting key findings and gap items for future tracking.
  • Act as the product expert, demonstrating how SEI effectively addresses the investment management needs of stakeholders, including individuals like Traders, Portfolio Managers, Administrators, Operations, and Compliance Officers.
  • Lead compelling technical and functional product demonstrations to showcase the value of SEI Front Office and Investment solutions to prospective clients, highlighting key benefits and use cases.
  • Demonstrated ability to incorporate sales feedback and functional product information to create and execute innovative sales and marketing communications that support a sales process.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams-sales, solutions, product development, and change management-to ensure seamless client experience from pre-sales engagements through deployment.
  • Develop impactful client-facing presentations and documents tailored to communicate value and address the specific needs of prospects
  • Deliver actionable feedback to product management teams, driving continuous product enhancements, innovation, and alignment with client expectations.
  • Cultivate a collaborative, transparent environment that emphasizes learning, teaching, and achieving mutual success.
  • Foster strong client relationships by engaging in professional and social settings, including out-of-office events, to build trust, strengthen connections, and better understand client needs.
  • Able to handle multiple agendas and tasks with tight delivery schedules
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of cross-functional teams
