Job Description

As a Financial Analyst in the GOC Team, you will support the end to end process of global operating certificate submissions, revenue analysis, and billing accuracy for North America Visa's clients. You will review and interpret client contracts, maintain key contract data, analyze submitted data for anomalies, and support the ongoing optimization of our revenue operations. Your efforts will help identify revenue opportunities, mitigate risks, and provide actionable insights to both internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Contract & Pricing Analysis:Review newly executed Issuer and Acquirer contracts to assess Visa's contractual pricing obligations. Enter and maintain clients' key contract terms in the contract database and perform multi-factor reconciliations for completeness and accuracy.
  • Financial Modeling & Calculations:Develop, update, and maintain complex financial models to monitor revenue, pricing compliance, and billing accuracy on a monthly and quarterly basis. Prepare pricing adjustment calculations (accrual and cash basis) as required.
  • Data Analysis & Anomaly Detection:Analyze client-submitted data for accuracy and completeness. Leverage large datasets and advanced data mining techniques (including technology software, Macros, SQL, and VB tools) to identify anomalies, revenue leakage, and incremental revenue opportunities
  • Revenue Reporting & Insights:Prepare and present customer and product revenue reports and business reviews for management, synthesizing insights from multiple data sources. Communicate high-level analytics and findings to a business audience, including senior leadership.
  • Process & Controls Improvement:Perform ongoing reviews of billing systems, processes, and controls to ensure data integrity and reduce the risk of potential billing errors.
  • Stakeholder Support & Client Training:Assist and train clients with quarterly and monthly GOC filings, resolve reporting errors, and deliver value-added support to Visa clients. Liaise with Business, Account Executives, and clients to develop practical solutions for identified issues.
  • Cross-functional Projects:Participate in ad-hoc revenue operations projects, analyses, and reporting as needed. Collaborate with internal partners across Finance, Revenue Operations, Legal, and other teams.
  • Industry & Regulatory Awareness:Maintain current knowledge of business, regulatory, and industry developments impacting billing and payment processing.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of work experience in a business, analyst-related occupation with a Bachelor's degree, or at least 3 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Master's in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business and Data Analytics, or related field).
  • Strong data analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize information from multiple sources and draw actionable insights.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel or Access skills (Macros, VB tools) proficiency in Word and PowerPoint knowledge of SQL preferred.
  • Solid quantitative, qualitative, and problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with a demonstrated ability to communicate technical and business issues to diverse audiences.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% (within North America).
  • Experience with card payment infrastructure, merchant operations, or financial services industry.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and operate autonomously.
  • Exposure to large datasets, data mining, business and technical data analysis.
  • Experience with contract review, revenue assurance, or billing analysis.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, demonstrating entrepreneurial spirit.
Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 102,600.00 to 145,150.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
